The Southport Children's Educational Centre (TSCEC) welcomes all children and parents to our centre. We aim to provide a safe, happy and caring environment for your child by working closely with each family in order to ensure continuity and consistency for you and your child.

TSCEC provides Long Day Care for children aged between six weeks and school age.

TSCEC employs professional, qualified and caring staff who are committed to providing high quality education and care for your child. A qualified Group Leader is in charge of each room and works with an assistant. We offer child-free preparation time for our Group Leaders as this ensures a quality program that will meet the needs of your child.
 

Centre Philosophy

At TSCEC we create an atmosphere of respect and trust, with open communication between home and the centre. We recognise that the family is the greatest influence in a young child's life. It is our aim to work closely with each family in order to provide the best care for each individual child.

At TSCEC your child will be respected and valued as an individual. Our program is flexible and is designed to meet the developmental needs of each child and to also enhance your child's strengths. The program also promotes an anti-bias approach which fosters an awareness and respect for diversity. We provide a stimulating and challenging program that allows children to develop to their full potential.

We recognise the importance of children developing a positive self esteem. A positive reinforcement approach is the basis of our  guidance policy.

Parent participation and involvement is actively encouraged within our centre.
